大家帮我出出主意吧～Ross vs. Tepper

我是4年accounting的背景。MBA之后想转做Strategy, general management 或者 brand management.Ross 的email里没有提scholarship，不知道收到admission binder以后里面会不会有。。。
Tepper 给了$17500 Forte scholarship.
这2个学校我都很喜欢，如果不考虑scholarship， 哪个program 更好呢？
看businessweek里的统计，Tepper的就业率比Ross好。。。

当然是Ross，和Tepper不是一个档次，Consulting 全美前5！
另外从最近的几次Ross活动中感受到，
Ross的学生档次更高，中国这边过去的学生本科全部出自清北复交，平均6-7年Fortune500工作经验，老成而不失活力、积极又有涵养。

楼上不可能是ROSS的吧。ROSS的Consulting没可能进全美前5的。至于中国大陆背景学生，最近某届出自北清复交的只有清华两个，复旦一个，没有北大和上交；除了一个同济和一个人大，其他都是非常一般的学校，甚至你没听说过的。500强工作经验的也没想起谁。还有某届，大陆过去的学生非常少，6-7个而已，好像有复旦和交大的，但远非全部，平均6-7年500强工作经验也根本谈不到。有人在500强工作过2,3年而已。

ROSS的就业状况确实不够理想。学校就业中心对国际学生的支持很小。携隐是超级牛人。但是，普通人甭指望就业中心就是了。。。。。。

不明白这个结论从何而来，从我听说的来看国际学生就业很不错。今年DB整个Ross只给了一个offer还给了中国学生。

我并不是牛人，实际上当初我起步的时候比很多人差，我的同学都可以为我证明，我从学校的career service，我的同学以及学长那里得到了巨大帮助，才有可能最后拿到我想要的offer。我可以肯定地说，如果当初进的不是Ross，而是任何一所其他学校，都有很大可能进不了banking。

Ross的career service并不只限于就业中心，事实上Ross有一个少有中国人知的特点，那就是几乎所有的东西都是student run的。从finance club到career counselors到所有二年级提供的集体性帮助到各种其他，都是学生组织的，好处在于这些帮助都基于最新鲜热辣的经验，而Ross的传承精神使得每个受过帮助的人都心存感谢，更努力地去帮助下一届。这些国内都很少知道。你去了GBR就会感受到了。

I am a current student in Ross. I don't know CMU situation, but what I know regarding internship recruiting for Chinese students here in Ross is that 100% had received offeres, which ranges from Banking, Consulting to Marketing and Corporate Strategy. FYI, I also got offers from both CMU with some $ and Ross last year. No regret choice for me to come to Ross.

As for OCD, it is useful, however,don't count too much on it!!  Actually, individual abilities and capabilities are of much more importance for recruiting! Both CMU and Ross provide a decent stage, it is you that deliver a SUCCESSFUL performance. By the way, somebody mentioned that Amazon hires a lot in CMU, but please ask them what is the percentage of Product/Marketing Management offers, which are far more difficult to get than Operation/SCM offers. As a matter of fact, according to Amazon recruiter, they hired the most students from Ross last year.

刚看到这个帖子。楼主说你要去GBR，那我就什么都不说了。根据我多年经验，在GBR之前找我聊天还举棋不定的学生，去完GBR回来找我都完全换了一个态度，全部都已经接了offer并且及其兴奋期待地想去Ross了。100%命中率。Have fun in GBR！
