Career center can offer basic knowledge on career development, help review resume, mock interviews and share alumin contact with you. That's enough. Most of things should be done by yourself. whether we can find a job doesn't depend on how well CC does. But CC tries its best to help students, especially international students.
You have to realize that in every class, we have only 10 Chinese MBAs among 150 students. if three of them work in SH or BJ as intern, it doesn't mean anything. the reason they would like to go is that that employer recruited earlier than other firms in US. So they didn't want to wait any more. If you have decided to come to Olin, don't bother youself with such things.
Hi mblovess, it's so nice to meet you here. I also got an offer from Olin in R1 and aren't sure to go yet. I'm from marketing sector, therefore would you pls share with me any firm that you know which hired Olin Chinese students in this field before? Also you mentioned many Chinese MBA located their interns in SH, does that mean in Olin the opportunity is rare? To what extent could the career center help us?
