To pursue something是不定式作补语，后跟定语从句（省略了关系代词that）。

考点：习惯用语、简洁有效、逻辑表达

习惯用语-such as，表示举例时用such as，而不是用like。

简洁有效，谓语动词后直接加形容词作补语；如果能用名词替代一个名词性从句，优先选名词（比如

something, probability, likelihood等）。

逻辑表达，原句的插入语不能随意改为句中并列的成分，会使表达意思改变，而且有些动作是不可能

用and连接同时发生的，如本题中的control和eradication。

(A) something代替名词从句，简洁；the other结构不完整，应该是one… the other搭配。

(B) consider a possibility表达方式不及直接跟形容词简洁有效；such like搭配错误，应该是such as。

第一道，说的是两个人当然是the other啊，another不是说三个或三个以上么 这个我觉得没什么争议吧 但这点居然只有楼上简单提过

one...the other 是说 一个怎么怎么样, 另一个怎么怎么样.
each...the other 是说每一个都对另一个怎么怎么样.(一共俩).
不能单纯的死记这个形式, 需要看上下文,看是在说什么啊.

each明显比both要合适(针对后面的the other而言). C动词没有主谓一致.
E的问题在于 one another, 首先前面有each了,我感觉就不能用one another了. both blame each other, both blame one another比较合适. 是说两个人互相怎么样.
另外有的语法会说, 这个one another是指三人及以上的互相. 两个人要用each other.
In my team we know one another very well.

查了Longman，说one another = each other，所以E中用了each就不能再用one了。

个人觉得应该从逻辑意思上来考虑prep那道题的
”成功治疗天花的program让专家去pursue以前不可能的事情——对这些infections的better control“
而这些infections里应该是包含天花的，因为在以前天花也是不能被better control的

each和one功能是一样，prep解释是对的，他不可能把所有都列出来吧

E用了each 再用one another就搭配不当了
