答案是C。很明显，found是 Lina's sunbird的后置定语，resembling是伴随状态。我想问的是，A为什么不可以？不可以把that当做 Lina's sunbird的限制性定语吗？

Mahanttan SC Page 216, 有提到平行关系：形容词，过去分词和现在分词可以视为平行，只要修饰的是同一种东西。举例：Only a few feed WIDE but SPINNING a continent, the railroad changed the history. Wide and SPINNING. 同样的道理：Found 和Resembling 同时修饰4+1/2 Inch Animal.

现在分词和过去分词是可以平行的
但是这一题里面考得是that的平行，后面是that从句，前面也一定要是

把A选项里面那个and去掉行不行啊？

还是没明白，  选项A里面， found in the Philippines and that resembles ， 为什么分词引导的found in..和 定语从句 that resembles 不能平行， 而一定要found 和 resembling 平行呢？

Lina's sunbird是主语has是谓语 a four-and-a-half-inch animal 是Lina's sunbird的同位语 found in the Philippines and resembling只是用分词的平行来修饰 a four-and-a-half-inch animal
a four-and-a-half-inch animal found in the Philippines and resembling a hummingbird 相当于是插入语和主句的时态无关
