能不能说说你的short term after MBA goal 是什么？ 直接回国? 还是先在美国工作一段时间？ 你的long term goal supposedly 是回国了？ 具体又想从事哪个领域的工作呢？ 是要回现在的company/industry 呢？ 还是open to new ideas generated at the MBA 呢？
Thank you very much for your suggestions above. I agree that "Why full-time MBA" is the most important thing to be addressed in my application.
To be honest, I always had an opinion that: MBA could offer me a comprehensive understanding of various factors in business fields, and teach me a complete set of tools and skills to identify these factors and their interations in a system (i.e. a company, or a industrial fields), and then help me to see through the complex environments and explore the keys to solve a broad range of problems (such as a business strategy, or a system construction, key projects planning and so on) . Currently, I deal with the problems on experiences and even intuitions. I wish I could make more systematic and rational analysis on business problems and identify the final solutions which could be more consistent and long-term effective, with limited negative effects on other factors.
Currently, I can say I am a good problem solver. But I would like to be someone who can have a good view of the whole scene of a system when solving current problems, and who could have a more clear vision on the whole system interations and long-term effects of behaviors.
To be honest, you sound like you are a bit over-qualified. (No offense, but your experience is really good) They might question why you still need a MBA.
Have you looked at Executive MBA? It's offered by many schools, and your background might fit in that category more.
