October 26, 2009. Cape Town, South Africa -- CEIBS was ranked #2 “Best Business School in Far Eastern Asia” at the 2nd Eduniversal World Convention held today in Cape Town, South Africa. NUS Business School in Singapore was ranked #1 while Tsing Hua University-School of Economics and Management came in third. Eduniversal is a leading global search company aiming to identify the best academic opportunities for students. The company selects the world’s best 1000 business schools by surveying schools in 153 countries that together represent 97% of the global population. Eduniversal’s criteria include: international influence and reputation, quality of programmes and teachers, accreditations obtained, state recognition and membership of different international associations. In addition, each Dean from the 1000 selected institutions can vote to recommend other academic institutions. Deans from 88 different countries voted in 2009.
