Currently, with the dramatically (rapid) development of world, TV, radio and  things of outside world are more and more attractive to people, especially young generation. However, the programs of TV and radio, and the outside world, are both double-edged swords
                to children with positive effects as well as negative influences (programs.. are double-edge swords both positively and negatively influence children). As the parents, they have obligation to control children in order to ensure the healthy growth of children.

 

Firstly, although the TV and radio programs may inspire the interests of children to thinking and learning (inspire children interesting in thinking and learning), it is possible to cause detrimental effects to children. Admittedly (as no doubt), the programs of the TV and radio are more abundant than any time, children could recept more knowledge and expand their ken by watching and listening. However, they are too young to discern
                whether the program is suitable for them (those programs bringing negative effects). If they choosed certain programs such as erotic films or violent scenes without the attention of parents, they may be deeply affected with these unhealthy contents, even mimic the episodes. It is not only harmful to themselves, but it may cause damage to others. Thus, parents have responsibility to guide the choice of the programs of TV and radio for their children.
