I don't think it is too late. If you graduated at 2006, you are still young and can make such big changing decision. For most Msf or MFE programs, the students are average aged at 25. Just like the papi above said, since you are in the U.S. already, you have a lot of opportunities and resources. Just contact those Admission staffs, and try to contact as many as you can. Be confident to try those top schools also. It is very common for people to go the U.S. under an unpopular major first and then shift into another one.
