a company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near your community. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this new influence on your community. do you support or oppose the factory? plain your position

 

  Without question, building a large factory will surely have great influence on our community.

  No issue is more important than this one that it will lead to an improvement in the local economy, which is one of the most important problems the government focused on. New technology and ways of management, which is also important to the other factories in the community to develop, will come with the large factory. Also, in order to compete with the large factory, the small ones will try their best to learn new skills and attaract talented people. Otherwise, they will become insolvent. What’s more, if the factory is a famous one, this is going to be a cogent advertisement which will attaract other factories to come.  

 

  Another head and chief reason is that large factories will provide lots of work opportunities to the community. The unemployment is becoming a more and more serious problem in the society. For a large proportion of the crime is lead by unemployment, solving this problem will help the government to creat a harmonious and peaceful environment for the people to live.

 

  However, there are also some demerits. First of all, building a large factory will sometime leads to the air or warter pollution. They are the ones having the worst harm to the health of the residents, and also the ones the most difficult to observe. Second, if the factory is powerful and not friendly, it will probably monopolise a certain bussiness. This will badly influence the development of this bussiness. Nevertheless, the merits of building a large factory carry much more weight than the demerits. So the conclusion is most striking and obvious.

  To sum up, given the reasons discussed above, we can safely reach the conclusion that it is wise to build a large factory near our community. In fact, not only do I prefer to build one large factory, but also prefer to build factories as much as possible.
