比较知名的VC有sequoia, benchmark, a16z, accel等等。不同VC的投资风格和薪酬制度的差别非常大，如果投资做的比较成功的话通常长期的回报都是看carry的，大致就是说你投的公司牛了之后有很多profit你自己也有相应的分红，和base salary不是一个数量级的。

据我了解不会unfriendly，湾区有不少中国人做PM的。但是这个职位确实对communication的要求比engineer要更高一点，所以如果英语好一点的话会有所帮助。MBA毕业去tech公司做PM是一条很典型的track。

Hey there,
Great to hear from you! So first of all, obviously if you will return to the same position, it makes no sense to do an MBA! However, in all likelihood, especially if you get an offer from a Top10 school, this will not be the case, and it can open many doors for you. Of course, this is your decision.

1. This is a hard question to answer because a lot of your offer will depend on YOU and your prior experience. You have a big range of people with a big range of experience going to B-school. and people come from all over the place. It is however true that many people go into finance or consulting.

2. If you want to live in California, it does make sense to have Stanford and Haas on your list. Although they aren’t easy to get into, even with great profiles.

硅谷是VC的集中地，数量多质量高。国内的美元基金的运作方式和硅谷这边还是比较接轨的，人民币基金会有不同的理念，所以有一些运作方式可能部分人不一定认同，不知道这是不是你所谓的乱。美国这边的HBS和Stanford毕业的校友去VC的非常多。
