Well that's true..but major still makes a difference..if you are not interested in quant job, then the courses in ust fm will be of little use. In terms of choosing university, ust is better than cu without doubt. but I don't think these two make a difference. Both will likely get you through the interview, after that will be your own..and what you learnt will matter more at than time.
It depends on what career path you want to pursue..They are totally different types. For the ust one, you may find yourself having quantitative job..but that field is highly competitive because of little headcount. and many of the quant are phd or MPhil background...I don't think msc is enough for a quant job...
