Schools have always offered students three types of after-school activities. But due to recent limited budgets, they can only support one kind of activities. Which one would you choose? Why? 1. Sports 2. Arts 3. Volunteering (eg. For the community)
一些小小的建议：1，就三选一的题目而言，我觉得对另外两个提到的有点少，只有在开头。   2，三个主体段的论证，看完觉得用了好多and,可以改变一下句式，句子间的逻辑关系也要注意一下。    3,总的来说，我觉得词汇用的有些重复和简单。

Usually,(More often than not)sports and arts course are offered in the（我认为the不需要，没有特指） schools so that students can do exercises and appreciate art work(works) during the class. However, volunteer(volunteer做名词是志愿者的意思，volunteering) is not a class in schools. Then students may not have chance to do it（do可以改成participate in,do用的有点多）（这两个句子可以用and thus连接）. Therefore, if schools need to support one kind of activities, they must choose volunteer work because it not only can benefit students and communities but also is a type of education.

Firstly, students can gain virtues from the volunteer work. As students, they only stay in the schools and focus on study(可以用bend on study,刻苦学习) . As a matter of fact, school is not the only place they can learn（这边少了宾语，可以加一个knowledge） in the world. Students should leave schools and come out to get in touch with the society, where they can get to know(access to) the truth they can’t learn(achieve) from(in) schools. Take my little brother as an example. He is the youngest one in family so(so的话是要前面加逗号的) everyone spoils him, making him（become） a selfish child. Fortunately, his school held an activity of volunteer teaching in poor village and I encouraged him to go(engage in). After coming back, his changes amazed me. He is now willing to share his things with me. Before, he even didn’t allow me to touch his books. And(and用的有点多，可以换成also,) he suggests me to collect my old clothes and books to send to some places in need. I appreciate his changes. And(我觉得这个and用的没啥必要) thanks to the volunteer work, he knows more truths and becomes more sensible.

Secondly, it’s advantageous for the whole communities（不确定whole后面是不是可以用复数）. Students’ volunteer work can improve the community environment. For example, the students are organized to pick up the wastes and to sweep the street, making the street tidy and clean. Besides, other kind(s) of volunteer work, such as visiting aging people（the elderly） in the nursing home, can accelerate relationship within the community. Volunteers get to know each other. And maybe some of them can become good friends. In addition, students communicate with old people. The olds can feel the warmth from young children(可以用一个when从句), and the youth can learn knowledges（不可数） and hear stories from old ones. (可以加一个therefore,)The interaction inspire the harmony environment in the community.

Last but not least, education is not all about knowledge. It also incorporates truths and personal experience. Doing volunteer work make(makes) students learn from their actions and the experience can be part of the unforgettable memory in their life(lives).

According to what I mentioned above, I strongly believed that schools should（should可以替换成are supposed to） offer volunteering as after-school activity.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: one quality that a successful leader must have is to make decision quickly; When a leader takes too much time to make decisions, he will be seen as inefficient to the people he leads.

What makes a good leader? I believe different people’s view vary according to their own profession, experience and values, but no one will deny that making right decisions is vital for being a leader. However, is making decisions quickly a necessary part for being a successful leader? I do not think so.

First, decisions made in a rush can be wrong due to lack of evaluation. A good decision needs to be based on analysis of current situation and the possible outcome needs to be predicted, which means it takes time to make a right decision. For example, if a manager needs to decide the bonus of an employee, he/she can not just think about a number and then publish it without comparing it with other employees according to their performance.

Also, by making decisions cautiously, a leader can earn more trust from the people he/she leads. Imagine you work in a firm, what would you think if you report an important problem to your leader and he/she makes a decision soon without thinking or calling for a meeting to discuss it?

However, I would like to agree that in some occasions that a leader needs to be very decisive, like when it is a small decision or it is an urgent situation. In such occasions, if a leader can not respond very quickly, their capability will sure be questioned.

In conclusion, except for small or urgent problems, I think a leader should take time to make decisions to assure its positive outcome. A wrong decision for a country or organization can be disastrous and speed is not that important for most of time.

Agree or disagree: the way of a person’s dress in an indication of his or her personality or character.

One person can have different dress styles, however, their characters won’t change a lot. There’s a saying that don’t judge a book on its cover and same as the people. （So are the people.）Thus, I argue that the way of a person’s dress can’t indicate his/her personality or character.

Firstly, the nature of the person won’t change because of the dressing style changes. There’s no doubt that personality is relatively stable. However, people’s dress can change very often. As a model, Ann needs to try different kinds of dress style. Even though she doesn’t like certain kind of dress code, she still needs to challenge herself because model is her job, which needs to show the creative things from designers in the T station. Ann is so shy, but she dares to wear only underwear to stay in T station. If we only see the Ann’s aspect of wearing underwear, we won’t consider Ann as a shy girl, which we can get to know only through getting along with her. Refering to Ann’s case, we can learn that the changeable dressing style can’t indicate the relative stable personality. (can 这个词出现的频率太高了，建议换一些动词，直接用具体的动词来表示也会更生动，例如最后一句可以直接说doesn't indicate)

Secondly, halo effect can bias person’s perception so that the indication of people’s dress won’t be accurate. Halo effect, one of the biases in cognitive psychology, means people tend to regard others as certain kind of person because of one characteristic. For example, Jack is an A- student in biology, and his teacher regards him as excellent students in other courses as well, even it isn’t true. Same as judging people through one’s dress, when people meet a beautiful girl, they are willing to consider her a kind person only because of her nice cover.Oppositely, If the girl is not good-looking enough, people will think she’s not so kind. It’s so normal because people are too lazy to recognize the world in a rational and comprehensive way. People tend to use(这个词感觉不太合适，也许可以换成choose) shortcut to live, like beautiful（as beauty） means good in everything instead of really getting on with the person and then make a conclusion that what kind of person he/she is. In a word, In order to avoid halo effect that is strong enough for people suffering unconsciously, we should discard the attitude that judges people through their dress.

In conclusion, it’s difficult for us to define the person’s personality accurately by dress for the changeable dressing style and halo effect. Hence, I don’t believe the way of  a person’s dress can indicate his/her personality or character.

It seems that it’s more likely for people who just focus on one skill to success for their concentration. However, nowadays, people living in a complex world not only need to focus on the onefold task, but also have to deal with a great many different people around. Therefore, people who try to acquire more than one skill are more likely to become successful than people who just focus on one skill.
(感觉第一段引出论点的因果关系不是很强，可以在原因句里加一些小词强调)

On one hand, people who master more skills tend to be more creative. As we know, creativity needs stimulus. The more skills people have, the more knowledge they own. Therefore, the people with more skills can be inspired by many different knowledge, which can lead to creativity( then iginite the spark of creativity). For example, I had an assignment about analyzing financial problem of an organization. Of course, I had the knowledge of finance so that I could solve the problem in the financial perspective. In addition, I’d learnt management. Then I used the SWOT model to analyze the opportunity and threats of the market environment and collected information to evaluate the strength and weakness of the organization. Through the management analysis, I found another kinds of reasons which can lead to severe financial problem of the organization and solved it correspondingly. And the solution was totally different from using financial one. Thus, more skills can help people to come up with creative ideas, which can lead to （这个出现好多次了，找一些替换的或者改变句式which resolve problems in better ways and make people successful）success.

On the other hand, people can’t just focus on the work, which means they need to get along with people around as well, so that besides working skill, people need interpersonal skill. There are many interpersonal tips people should aware in their daily life, such as greeting coworkers, appropriate compliments and so on, or people may suffer because of unawareness. For example, if you always greet and smile when you meet other people, then others would like to get along with you even can help you when you needed. However, if you always put a poker face, others would feel you are not friendly so that they try to avoid getting on with you so that you can lose many chances because of this, such as opportunity of training, information of promotion and so on. In a word, except for task itself, people is(are) important (who can be dealt with by interpersonal skill从句放到people后面，不然修饰的是important). (最后一句话总结略奇怪，好想强调的是people的重要性而不是interpersonal skill。Except for the only one skill in your own profession, interpersonal skills is inevitable for people living in the social commmunity. )

Nowadays, even if the world is busy and crowed so that people seem to be hurry in everything, we still need to consider politeness to others because of keeping relationship and sometimes surprisingly receiving rewards from others.

First, the relationship is an essential topic in people’s life. Even though nowadays, the rhythm of life is so fast that it’s much easier for us to ignore the people around us. However, there is no doubt that we can’t live without getting along with people around, especially our families, friends and lovers who are the most crucial part of our life.And in a relationship, being polite to others is one of the best ways to show respect. For example, I was short of money for an urgency. Then I planned to borrow money from my best friend Ann. I told her that please lend me some money and I will give back to you next month.” And I also said “thank you” after she gave me the money. If I hadn’t treated her in a polite way, though she is my best friend, she would have felt uncomfortable and our relationship would have been hurt because she looked like my ATM rather than a best friend. As you can see, the politeness is vital for us to keep good relationship.

Second, when you be polite to others, you may surprisingly receive rewards. A Chinese old saying that is after giving roses to others, the fragrance has left on the hand tells us this truth. For example, I had a classmate named John, who seemed really hating me. Every time I said hi to him, he only treated me as air. I felt very upset but I insisted my greeting because I wanted to keep my bottom line—the politeness, of course with sincerity. Therefore, I still smiled to John whenever I saw him even though he still showed me the poker face. Gradually through my instantly polite behavior, the situation changed. I was surprised and moved that one day when I said hi and smiled to John and he replied me a smile as well, which seems like everything I do has paid off.  And now John is one of my best friends. Greeting and smiling to others is just a very simple thing, but this small action may bring us the unexpected rewards.

Admittedly, in a busy and crowed world, people would like to focus on things best for themselves. However, small things can make big difference. The politeness can not only help us to keep relationship but also bring us rewards from others. Thus, I strongly believe that we should expect people to be polite others.
