001 People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, and increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

 

Nowadays, more and more people choose to attend a college or university after their high school education. I strongly believe it is necessary to extend our education after we graduate from high school, it brings a lot of benefits for our future life in the society. People attend the college or university for numerous reasons, following are those reasons which I think it’s important.

 

First of all, attending a college or university is a career preparation for our future life. We student will be finally thrown into the society after the schoolwork, it is certainly that everyone will have a specific job to do. For the work you do, you should be acquainted with it, in another word, the work you do is what you are good at. In high school, the courses what we learn are just primary subjects that everyone has to learn, but in a college or university, we chose our major by ourselves, the major you chose is what you interested in and it is concerned with your future occupation.

 

Secondly, we can make many friends in the college or university. Friends are important to everyone, and everyone needs friends. We make our friends in the university or college, so that we can help each other in study, to solve problems together, in this way, all of we will quickly improve our study. For entertainment, we can enjoy ourselves together, more friends more happiness. Furthermore, in our future life, college friends will help you in different fields as the different major we learnt in college or university.

 

Last but not least, in the college or university, we can experience ourselves before we enter the society. In general, the circumstance in college or university is similar to which in society. We can broaden our view and have a general conception of the society. For example, some students do some free time work in their college period, from this, they can know what it is like to play a role as a employee. To provide another example, a student as a representative will learn the responsibility of a collectivity.

 

In conclusion, everyone have their own reasons, whatever it is, no doubt that extending the study in college or university effect us in a positive way.
