今天刚收到的offer from Norwegian School of Management.

University of Bath, School of Management, Bath, UK,

The Mannheim Business School Mannheim, Germany

ESCP-EAP (European School of Management), Paris, France

Nanyang Business School, Singapore

Consulting.

Sincerely

UA is not such a good school. The European school you mentioned is probably better but it seems that it is a joint program in Europe.

American South is very racist.

I would suggest that you try some Chinese schools such as CKGSB and CEIBS and try to get an opportunity to exchange to the top business schools such as UC Berkley, Darden or Duke. For example, with Darden, you can stay there from August to March for 7 months and it is a top business school.

I also believe many Chinese schools will dominate the two schools you are mentioning. Notice that the median salary from the top three Chinese business schools is around 300,000 RMB. In 4 or five years, RMB/dollar exchange rate is likely to be corrected and fall to 3. That means graduates from Chinese business schools should get about 100,000 USD as the median. Moreover, Chinese market is growing faster than US schools. 100,000 USD is much higher than either Alabama or Norweign is comparable to top 15 US business schools.

Have foresight!

去吧, you have nothing to lose.

I choose to disagree. the logic is lousy.

I doubt this:

In 4 or five years, RMB/dollar exchange rate is likely to be corrected and fall to 3. That means graduates from Chinese business schools should get about 100,000 USD as the median.

I also challenge that gentleman's logic on 'median salary': the median salary from the top three Chinese business schools is around 300,000 RMB.

----

Even though that statement might be true, SO WHAT?

For every MBA grduate, the pay package depends on his or her induvidual background, capabilities and soft skills.

It is illogical to assume, infer or conclude that, after MBA education from a certain b-school, everybody can get that kind of pay or higher.

As a matter of fact, for a centain number of persons, they may have to start from relatively lower payment no matter they go to Chinese or European or American business schools, no matter they have or haven't an MBA degree.

with respect to the exchange rate, we will see. If you look at the purchasing power parity, I am not way off. Combined with the higher growth of China, it is my best estimate.

Certainly there is no guaranttee. I am only providing a best estimate. That is what we do when you have to make decisions with uncertainty. Managerial economics will tell you how to do that.
