看这个学校，从来没听说过。不过，进去一看，faculty都是名校出来的。。。也许是名校但是差生吧。还有一个可能性，是把各种牛人挖过来，毕竟这个专业新开不久。

The Ph.D. Program in Information Systems is offered by the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. Now in its fifth year, the program's
mission is to prepare graduates to conduct top quality basic and applied research in Information Systems. Students graduate prepared for careers as faculty in academic units and as IS professionals in research organizations. In fact, we have an outstanding track record of several journal and conference publications by students themselves, before they graduate. They are mentored by thirteen excellent faculty members who frequently publish in top-tier and high profile IS journals.
Several of our students have graduated and we have had 100% placement in quality schools.
The program is designed primarily for full-time students. Each student is offered full tuition waiver and a competitive graduate assistantship.
