季末的风

第一次考托福，也没报过培训班什么的，也没怎么写过托福的作文练习，题目来源于OG的TEST 2，自己掐着时间做，发现时间特别紧，特别是独立写作，时间到了我的300字总是还差着点。另外还觉得自己写不多，想讲的都讲完了发现字数好像还不到最低限度，求教各位前辈这个怎么破？

综合写作，有关于大学教授上电视是否对教授和观众有好处

The speaker thought that neither  professors nor the public really benefitedform professors' appearing on TV,which is contrary to the passage.

First of all,professors who appearing on TVwere asked to entertain the audience,not educate them,which will degradeprofessional image in the eyes of other scholars.then the professors' academiccareer may be influenced,they may not be invited to some important academicmeetings.However, the passage thought professors gained reputation fromTV.which would increase their reputation in the academic circle.

Second,professors themselves had to spendtoo much time on TV show,and all the preparing work,including makingup,rehearsal,etc.Thus,time used to do research and talk to students will bedeminished.

then,the speaker also held the view thatpubic did not benefit from professors' showing on TV.Due to TV show'sproperty,professors'  talking on TV wasnot academic at all,it was no more than some background and introduction of aevent,which can be done by news reporters or audience themselves.This is alsodifferent from the passage,which considered the public would learn some deepand thoughful knowledge from the professors.

独立写作Do you agree or disagree the following statement,young people enjoy life more than older people do?

I do believe that young people enjoy lifemore than older people do.When you think about young people,such wordspassion,open and carefreeness will come into your mind.When you think aboutpeople in their forities or above,you may portray a successive and responsibleman or woman in your mind.This is one part of reflection of different people'saltitudes towards life.It seems that young people are more likely to enjoy theyouthful days.In my opinion,this tendency is the result of the following reasons.

First,the diffenerce of age contributes tothe different altitudes towards life.Young people,as you can see,is young.Theyare in their best physical conditions,they have less experience in society andmore ambitions than the older,they don't experience much failure,and want tolive as they like.Older people,on the contrary,they have tasted the happinessand sorrow in life,their passion and ambitions fade.At the same time ,theirhealth conditions is not as good as young people as a whole.

Second,the difference also due to thesocial background.The generation of people in their forities or above,have adifferent youth memory with the young generation nowadays.Back to 1960s or1970s,the world was in turbulence.The tension between US and Soviet Union upgraded,andlocal war happened from time to time.Further more,the technological andeconomic level then is worse than that now.Young people at that time werestruggling making ends meet,their personalities were concealed from the globalsituation.But young people now live in a comparatively peaceful time,we do notthink global war will take place recently,right?and the technological andeconomic development makes life easier.Telephones and Internet connect theworld more closely.although global economy growed slowly after the financialcrisis in 2008,we difinately live a better life than people who lived 30yearsago.all these provide conditions for young people to develop their uniquepersonalities and fulfill their ambitions.That's why young people are enjoyingtheir life more than older people do.
