请教:保送直升英文怎么讲?看到美国有个ADVANCED PLACEMENT的说法,这个和中国的保送直升一样吗?

Advenced Placement i think is advaced placement class. Not sure about that. I've taken those classes before. It allowed me to take some college level classes while in high school. I was able to skip some core classes when i was in college.

as far as "保送直升" is concerned, I am not sure there is such a term in the states. Because test score is never the only factor to apply for college. And for the transition from junior high school to senior high school, you have 3 choices: 1. pay alot of money and go to a private one; 2. go to a regular public school in oyur neighbour; 3. take a test, get a good score, go to 1 of those top high schools. There are not too many top public high schools in new york city. Certainly, all i above mentioned are scenarios in new york only. By no means you should assume that is the case for the entire states.

For the translation, you might just say something like i acheived... so htat i was able to attend..... without taking the college entrance exam which was required to other students....

my 2 cents.

I will use "...qualified for ...graduate school/college, exempted from entrance examination". something like this..

我当时是用"Exemption of ...Exam".可能说"waiver"也可以。
