We all work or will work in our jobs with many different kinds of people. In your opinion, what are some important characteristics of a co-worker? One day in the future, I will work in my job and contact different people. Considering that I will face them most of the work days, I would like to work with a co-worker who is kind-hearted, co-operative as well as that he can respect others. Only by living up to these three requirements can I be willing to work together with him/her. Herein, I would like to explain my reasons, as follows.
First and foremost, a co-worker should be kind-hearted. There is no gain saying that a kind-hearted person acquires others' respect in that people hold a favorable attitude towards he who is willing to help others. I am not an expectation. During work, more often than not, some problems will emerge and I can not handle them myself. Consequently, I appreciate my colleagues' help. As a matter of fact, inasmuch as the competition in the office, everyone is not pleasurable to do me a favor. Therefore, help from my co-worker is especially precious.
Additionally, a co-worker should be co-operative. The knowledge and experience of one person are limited. And with the development of the society, no time in the world can co-operation be more important than today. At office, people should co-operate with each other to attain success. Well goes an old saying:” A member's success is not success, a team's success is a real success." A good member should dedicate his energy or time to the whole team rather than his own work. For this reason, co-operation, for a co-worker, is a necessity.
Last but not least, a co-worker should respect others. Day in and day out, I spend a great mount of time and energy at work. Therefore, a favorable work environment is of great significance. A crucial factor that contributes to the environment is others respect and politeness. This superb work environment benefits not only the members but also the office. Never is truer than that an office with harmony tends to be more efficient.
Apparently, all the characteristics above are indispensable for a co-worker. If all co-workers in the team can have the three characteristics, how can the team fail to overcome difficulties they have met? |
