You may be aware that CUHK Business School did not appear in Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2014 released recently. CUHK MBA programs did not take part in this year’s FT Global MBA Rankings 2014 due to a technicality. However, please be assured that our absence from it is not a reflection of the academic standing of CUHK’s MBA programs.

In fact, our record of high rankings in recent years (27th in Year 2013 and 28th in Year 2012) and our strong data from the participating class for the 2014 FT survey suggest that the School would not have had any difficulties in achieving a high position in this year’s ranking.

CUHK MBA programs continue to enroll the best and brightest students from all over the world. This is again reflected in this year’s intake of new students, who come from 22 countries and have outstanding academic background. We are confident that our MBA programs will continue to thrive with our strong academic leadership and talented student body.

Upon having close communication with Financial Times, we fully expect to participate in the next ranking, and will make every effort to ensure that our MBA programs are well placed in future FT rankings.

Technicality may refer to limited sample size. (n<30 and FT rejected T distribution, LOL)

沈校長幾年前已說不參加排名，中大沒上榜也很正常，另外，記得info events 時，professor 説過排名只針對full time 同學。part time 同學請不要受這個排名影嚮揀唔揀中大。對住在深圳同學，中大位置是個非常大優勢，另外就是學費三大最平。

信息透明化是SA对MBA的基本要求，我相信这也是选择香港学校的同学一个最基本的理由吧。而且我们算是“消费者”和利益关系方，有权利知道。USnew个人认为很重要，毕竟大多数人读MBA前对于院校的认识主要来源于此。

无论是排名下滑还是不在排名上都对branding有影响

另外如果真的是跌出，应该不会考虑学校主观意愿吧？（大家相信ft也是因为觉得ft客观）原文解释是disappear而非fell out，私以为从官方角度并未承认排名“有下滑”这层意思，另外有同学邮件联系ft，回复中也未涉及到“排名在100名以外”的意思。当然，technicality这个解释太过模糊，具体情况要等节后照会时才能得知。
深圳校区情况请联系AO置评，这个只在老师课上案例里顺带提到过，似乎大部分同学对此都无兴趣（至少对大陆同学没什么吸引力，外国同学也更喜欢香港的环境）

別鬧了，沈校長2010年上任，而CUMBA 2013 在FT MBA RANKING 排27，2012排28，都是非常不錯的排名。CUMBA 在自己的網站宣傳也會用上這一排名。

CUMBA 只是2014 年沒有參加，和沈校長幾年前說什麽沒多大關係。一般學校不參加都是ALUMNI 回覆問卷率不達FT要求。這大概是CUHK MBA 信件上說的Technicality reasons 吧（也沒法證實）。不過這和CUHK MBA的QUALITY 關係不大。CUHK MBA連續穩定地兩年排27-28 ，也不太可能一年就水平跌得這麽利害。

說CUHK MBA 跌出FT 百大不算對，最多只可說2014 沒有參加排名。說CUHK 幾年前就決定不參加排名更是離譜。
