ecsniffer has a very good question, i think u r right. look, leaf and stem r both singular, and material as well. furthermore, choice B is very redundant
waaa, what a good question! 1, when the author talks about harvesting, s/he refers to leaf and stem as a whole because they fall together 2, then it comes to biology, leaf and stem r, of ocurse, seperatable
