Comprehensible things aren’t always simple. The two facially conclusive opinions factually can be both reasonable.
People have evolved through many stages where the world became more and more understandable and thus the life became more and more convenient. Problems like why the sun rises from the east and fall into west were explained by the development of astronomy, before which people thought it is god that created and controlled the nature. People scheduled the cultivations of different plants to make the best harvest by lots of experiences and discoveries and finally concluded the change and the duration of seasons. The percentage of death cases caused by illness decreased and the average age of people increased since the progress made in medical area. By coincidently hit by an apple, Newton eventually discovered the theory of gravity through large amount of research. Human being has formed the abilities to summarize the scientific discoveries and make them in empirical usage for life’s convenience. The world has become smaller and clearer for us from ancient time.
The researches and discoveries never stop since the more things are explained, the larger areas in veil are exposed. When scientists found the basic unit of living being, molecule, what compose a single molecule ravished them. Our earth, initially considered as the whole world, was sequentially discovered as a sphere-shape planet in solar system, causing the problem about the boundary of universe.
In the past, deeming that the god created all things, our ancestors didn’t think about problems like why there exists day and night, and like why the river ran inconstant, and ironically, like where is the god and what does he look like. As the development of society, more and more problems were exposed while much of them were solved soon. We actually made a clearer comprehension of the world, but at the same time, the world appeared to be more complicated.
Sometimes, it is because we understand things thoroughly that we consider them as complex. Ignorant people think the problem of how a person comes into being easily, and their answers are that person are given birth his mom. And subsequence problems come: where does his mom come from, following by a serial of the sequential problems. Though the essence of human is still in musk, I can assert that the intelligent scientists studying on this think the problems more complex than that in the thought of those ignorant people.
The knowledge of science just likes a rootless tree, once a node (problem) is discovered, there come the children of that node which haven’t been acknowledged before. Furthermore, the number of the nodes we get through is indubitably increasing.
