Hi there, my friend! I’d love to offer some advice here. I think the first question you need to ask yourself is whether or not you like actuarial work. It can be an interesting career, but it is certainly very different from other financial professions. Before you apply to graduate programs, you must first figure out what you want to do in the future. If you don’t really have a preference between these two majors (even though they lead to different careers), I would encourage you to apply to Columbia, which is one of the best programs in this field. NYC is also a fantastic location, which will give you many opportunities to land a job after graduation. Hope this helps!
