之前总是潜水，在CD上找到过各种宝贝，现在来回馈一下大家~

7月12号芝加哥LOOP考场12：30pm-

Issue -
In order to becomewell-rounded individuals, all college students should be required to takecourses in which they read poetry, novels, mythology, and other types ofimaginative literature.

Argument -
The following appeared in a health newsletter.
"A ten-year nationwide study of the effectiveness of wearing a helmet while bicycling indicates that ten years ago, approximately 35 percent of all bicyclists reported wearing helmets, whereas today that number is nearly 80 percent. Another study, however, suggests that during the same ten-year period, the number of accidents caused by bicycling has increased 200 percent. These results demonstrate that bicyclists feel safer because they are wearing helmets, and they take more risks as a result. Thus, there is clearly a call for the government to strive to reduce the number of serious injuries from bicycle accidents by launching an education program that concentrates on the factors other than helmet use that are necessary for bicycle safety."
Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to be answered in order to decide whether the recommendation and the argument on which it is based are reasonable. Be sure to explain how the answers to these questions would help to evaluate the recommendation.

后面是QVQVQ, Verbal记住的不多，填空考到的单词有uncanny, bemoan（第一个V第一题，纠结了很久，其他都是什么disregard,disparage之类的，清一色的负面词。个人觉得这题很难选）, 后面六选二有题是选wane的同义词(我选了collapse和reduce, 不确定），其他很多都不记得。阅读考到了union/nonmangement的逻辑题，好多道女权运动有关的题。V1长阅读是说有俩人本来想用structural theory解释origins of women's movement and change in social conditions, 然后具体讲了两个人怎么试图用这个理论解释，其中一个人用的是data. 文章结尾指出他们俩还是没能解释origins，简单阐述原因。

想到什么再补充吧。感觉背了的单词都没怎么考到。不过可能是因为我红宝，3000都没刷完一遍

数学有一题最后把答案改错了！！题目说among all the numbers between 1 and 1000 inclusive, how many are divisible by 5 or 7 or (5 and 7)? 我觉得答案应该是317，其他答案有200, 342, 另两个比200小我觉得应该不对。其他貌似没有很难。

考场环境不错，监考人员清一色黑人。都很friendly. 带passport 去考试的同学记得把最后一页的签名档签了，考试时候要check signature.

别的想到再补充吧~ full-time工作天天睡5个小时读gre的孩纸真心伤不起。。。不过个人感觉短期突击的话真的背单词是王道，而且越早开始越好。虽然不能把自己背成一本字典，至少也能增加不少信心。逻辑推理能力神马的差的话那就是长占线了。从我个人gmat的经验来说，逻辑不好的话可以用gmat的逻辑题练习。lsat据说也不错。

还成吧，数学168，verbal 161. 申请语言学或者education之类应该是不用重考了吧。。。不知道gre用来报mba的话具体是啥要求。。。

哇，厉害，坐等作文分数吧，语言学对作文也要求高吧

我也没啥概念。。。好多学校都假惺惺地不写门槛分数是多少。。烧香祷告中。。。
