Some people pay money for the things they want or need. Other people trade products or goods for what they need. Compare the advantages of these two ways of obtaining things. Which way do you prefer? Explain why.
When confronted with various choices, different people make their own decision. The analysis of these questions will improve the ability to make better judgment during the daily life. Some people prefer to trade products or goods for what they need. However, in my opinion, I would prefer to pay money for the things I want. In the following discussion, I would like to reason and provide evidence to support my viewpoint.
To begin with, buy something needed is more convenient than trading product for what people want. With the development of science and technology, our lives become easier. There are all kinds of department stores, chain stores and dolor stores which distribute throughout the whole city. When we want to buy food, we can go to various supermarkets; when we want to purchase clothes, countless department stores are available. Moreover, you can even buy the goods through internet without going out to search. However, if you want to trade products for what you want, you need to find if someone wants the product that you have. It takes time for you to look around and search. Therefore you cannot buy anything you like immediately, which will make you unhappy.
Next, judging the value of the good is easier when you buy something than you trade products. Because when you buy something, you can know the actual value of the goods through advertisements, newspaper and websites. You can compare the different price and get the good deal. Nevertheless, it is very hard to decide the value of the second-hand products when you want to trade products, thus it is hardly possible for you to get the good deal.
In addition, sometimes there are many things you cannot obtain by trading. For example, when you go to restaurant to have dinner, you need to pay the money directly; when you want to see the movie, you have to pay the ticket directly; when you want to go to school to have education, you have to pay the tuition directly.
Some people may disagree with me that in old time people always traded products to get what they wanted. However, in today’s highly developed society, paying money to get what we want is more practical. It will make us enjoy our lives better.
As discussed above, we can safely reach the conclusion that paying money for the things we need bring us lots of advantages, such as the convenience, high quality life and good deals. In fact, not only do I prefer to pay money to buy things, but also prefer to spend money as efficient as possible. |
