Howdy, friend, and thanks for your question! First of all, you have a good background, making you a competitive candidate for Master’s programs in Business schools. But before you dive into your applications, you need to figure out which kind of program is right for you. There are MSF, MSA, and other majors in most B-schools. Since you worked in an accounting firm for two years, I assume you want to further your career in that area, correct? Also, your GMAT is good, but if you can get a 700 or better, it would be extremely helpful and take your application to the next level. For your current situation, I’d suggest you to take a look at the following MSA programs: University of Utah, Miami University, and University of Wisconsin Madison. These should definitely be in your range. If you have any other questions, feel free to follow up with me! Jon Frank HBS 2005 -- by 会员 JonFrank (2013/1/21 18:36:46)
Hey Jon
I am just back from a B-trip and sorry for my late reply. I am thinking to apply for mater studies on some non-accounting areas (e.g. economics or finances) but I have not decided yet after all my background would be a good match for accounting master.
I think I will take another round GMAT exam later during non-peak season and also take time to consider and determine to which programme I prefer most. Anyway, thank you so much for your advice, let's keep contact.
Cheers ^_^ |
