看了很多帖子的解释，有了自己的想法，不知道对不对，希望请教NN们~~~
这句话中“carefully ...narratives”这个部分可能1）修饰BP这个人2）修饰illustrations； 如果修饰BP这个人（即BP，carefully coordinating them with her narratives ）,那么因为后面还有capitalize这个v.，而同一个主语发出的动作应该平行，所以应该用coordinated而非coordinating来修饰BP。那我们来看E，这句话很怪异，我分析了一下，原因有两点：1）语义上，coordinate 和后面的keen observation &love等都没有平行的含义；2）in her book illustrations提前到BP之前会比较正常，这样不仅使主语离谓语更近，也能使句意更清晰一点。所以“carefully ...narratives”应该修饰illustrations,那么符合逻辑的只有C选项。
