170. Groups or organizations are an important part of some people’s lives. Why are groups or organizations important to people? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.

It is true that everyone belongs to certain groups or organizations in his whole life; for example , if he is young and work , he belongs to his school , company or factory , if he retires, he belongs to his family and if he believes in God, he belongs to the church as well. Thus , it is commonly supposed that groups or organizations are important part of  people’s lives. Why are groups and organizations important to people? In the following paragraphs,  I am going to present my reasons from several aspects since groups are the best place to foster one’s spirit and the best place to make friends and the best place to obtain skills.

To begin with, groups and organizations are the best place to cultivate one’s spirits. It is inevitable for anyone in a group that he must learn how to get along with others. In a group or  an organization, one learns the team spirit, learns cooperation with colleagues and learns warmness to help others.  When he encounters difficulties, he comes to his colleagues and can get help; when he enjoys happiness , he comes to his colleagues , shares it with them and he becomes happier. People could gain endless strength and priceless experience from his group, which is the suitable conditions for his mental development.

Additionally, groups and organizations are the best place to make friends. Friends are the treasures in one’s life and are indispensable. It goes without saying that it is the members of this group who know each other best. It is easy for people to make friends between or among those whose habits and hobbies are same.

Furthermore, groups and organizations are the good place to learn knowledge and skill. If one could get along with others well , he could gain numerous help from his members in many aspects. Members’ cooperation would sparkle his  mind and give him constructive advices. And he could also learn from his members directly.

Generally speaking, groups and organizations are indispensable in people’s life. Life in groups could benefit one endlessly, such as the development of mind, the friendship he gains and knowledge he obtains, etc. Thus I could safely say groups or organizations are vital to people.
