The following appeared in a memorandum from the business department of the Apogee Company.
“When the Apogee Company had all its operations in one location, it was more profitable than it is today. Therefore, the Apogee Company should close down its field offices and conduct all its operations from a single location. Such centralization would improve profitability by cutting costs and helping the company maintain better supervision of all employees.”

在线等大家来回复。大家讨论一下。今天刚开始复习AA，没有头绪。。。

1、it was more profitable than it is today的原因不一定是centralization
2、centralization 不一定能cutting costs；例如，可能关闭外地分支机构之后，公司的员工去外地出差，差旅费增加
3、就算centralization以前提高了profit,不代表今天仍然可行
