求教:LSAT-13-1-25

25. All actors are exuberant people and all exuberant people are extroverts, but nevertheless it is true that some shy people are actors.

If the statements above are true, each of the following must also be true EXCEPT:

(A) Some shy people are extroverts.

(B) Some shy extroverts are not actors.

(C) Some exuberant people who are actors are shy.

(D) All people who are not extroverts are not actors.

(E) Some extroverts are shy.

B might or might not be true.

Actor --> exuberant (X)
Exuberant --> extrovert (Y)

A conforms to X
C conforms to X Because all actors are exuberant and some actors are shy, there must be some exuberant actors are shy
D conforms to -Y (not extrovert --> not exuberant) and -X (not exuberant --> not actor)
E conforms to X and Y.

Spot the question type: Must be True ( Except )

Core of the argument:

A ---> E ---> T

Some S ---> A  ( Some A ---> S )

A. Must be true

B. Could be true but not must be true ( Some S ---> No A )

C. Must be true

D. Must be true

E. Must be true
