在看正确句子所以一句句分析下来。这一句感觉不太理解。正确答案是C。不过 Excited about the prospects of harnessing Niagara Falls to produce electric power。这句话不太能理解。prospects of后面加的这算是句子嘛？

C选项翻译过来的意思是，对利用Niagara Falls来产电的前景感到兴奋，NT，交流电的发明者，预测在19世纪90年代中期，Niagara产生的电能能够日供应London街道上的车和Paris的街灯。Prospects of后面接的是动名词词组harnessing Niagara, to produce electric power是修饰harnessing Niagara的
