因为e中的代词指代有问题啊。

结构平行要注意，不能拘泥于非常严谨的形式平行。能够形式对称最好，为了整个语法结构的正确，有时也要变通一下，只要大方向对称就好。个人意见。

c的结构其实也很平行的。

多谢了!　还有一个问题，e中的it 为什么不能指condition呢?

(E) the presence of a condition when it is there and indicate its presence when it is not.

蓝对蓝，黄对黄。红和蓝的内容不同，所以错。

并列结构中，同个代词it要内容相同。个人意见。你再看看og解释，体会一下。

奥... 突然意识到少了一个there, 但是不能省略there吗?

E根本就不平行indicate与fail平行，否则后半句意思正好相反。然后象我爱宝宝MM说的，E中it指代前后不同。

1.it 是！只能指代单一名词：

（C）严格的做到了这一点，全句3个it逻辑指代都是“condition”

2. 怎可以it 指代the presence of a condition：

（E）据“就近指代”原则，最后一个it，就近的noun.是“its presence”="the presence of a condition";

这种情况，导致it指代不唯一，所以错

是不是这也说明了，一个句子里，所有格its和it的指代，实际是允许不统一的。
