Dear ***,

Thank you for your interest in our PhD program and our committee has reviewed your application. You have good undergraduate GPA and GMAT scores, however, we do not have any information regarding your master program academic results. In addition, the nature of your master program is a one-year program which focuses on taking courses rather than research. Taking the information together, we do not have enough bases to assess your research capability, which is very important for completing a PhD program successfully. I am sorry that I cannot bring more positive news but I hope you understand the rationale underlying our decision. Should you have further questions, please feel free to email me.

How to anwer this email? Help... It seems that the committee wants my proof of research ability, but I have only published some Chinese articles. Most of them do not contain quantitative analysis. How to prove my research potential and ability? Hope that you will give me some precious suggestions. Thanks~~

如果你有一些研究经验--尚未出现在你的resume, ps, recommendation...里，then call them immediately and tell them you've done such such.

im not sure how solid their "decision" is, but if they're willing to hear u out, then follow up with 1. summary of your research/ paper, 2) additional recommendation specifically addressing ur projects.

if their "decision" is final. then try to do the above for other schools immediately.

1. 什么学校这么坦率直接。。。

2. lz如果修过统计/ 数学/ business phd seminar的课可以给她们显示一下说你接触过research
RA/TA也是很好的证明
不过这些你的PS和CV里面难道没有突出highlight吗？
