有關exchamge program的選校問題!

雖然已經在北美MBA版問過類似問題, 但是因為問題也有關亞太MBA, 所以也想在這邊尋求建議!

請問一下各位前輩有關exchange program的選校問題!

小弟來自台灣, 目前在歐洲念MBA, 下學期有機會做交換學生
小弟背景:
1. BS/MS - EE
2. 8yrs working experience in high-tech (mobile)

Career goal:
Go back to Asia/Greater China, Industry or Consulting

所以想請教的是:
1. Exchange對於未來工作有幫助?
2. 該選US TOP15的學校(Booth/Kellogg/Anderson/Haas/Ross)還是亞洲/中國的學校(CEIBS/Tsinghua/HKUST)?
3. CEIBS/HKUST/Tsinghua的交換經驗對我的career goal幫助會很大嗎? (CEIBS有提供career service)
4. 以小弟的目標(experience/network/work in China), CEIBS/HKUST/Tsinghua該怎麼選呢?

I think you should offer your MBA school name, and state your career blueprint further.

CEIBS/HKUST/NUS will be three very different targets. So, where you should head dependson where you want to continue your post-MBA work. CHina? HK? or SG?

In my opinion, US top15 are excellent. However, as you chose Europe school, US brandname won't add too much scores for you, especially you want to develop yourself in great China.

Anyway, wish you a bright life for your exchange program.

1. Career goal: Go back to work at Greater China area. Preference: China, HK/Singapore, others (TWN/JP, etc.)
2. Target section: Industry (IT/HealthCare, GM, strategy, marketing, sales, operations) or consulting
3. Background: EE (BS/MS), stayed in IT for 8 years (Mobile, last job: Motorola Mobility for 3.5yrs)
4. Now: ESADE 1st yr student (The FT ranking drops a lot in 2012 :p)

My only objective is that I hope this 3-month exchange experience can really add value to me, in terms of career development in Greater China area.

小弟的疑問是:
1. 3個月的exchange(US TOP15)對resume跟找工作會有加分, 尤其是在中國發展?
2. 如果3個月在CEIBS/Tsinghua/HKUST, 對我的China network/experience幫助會有多少?

所以主要是想確定, 是去US TOP15做交換, 還是去China的牛校...

1,加分有限,不过你可以利用学校的职业发展中心来找工作
2,需要你自己来努力,比如我就很少跟交换生混

我不认为当个交换生就会对你将来在该地区的就业有很大帮助。反正只是短短几个月时间。你想到那里工作,本应到那里读MBA

如果你8年的工作经验是在台湾的话，你不需要到大陆的学校做交换，去美国的Top15对开拓你的视野会有一定的帮助。

台湾的工作经验已经足够了。network这个东西，在你没有资源之前，用处也有限。

在大陆学校交换的闪光点在与找工作，交换的几个月，可能就是你找工作的时间和机会。

請問, 中歐career service也會對交換學生全力support嗎?
我的career goal就是回Greater China
所以想了解resume上exchange的經驗
是CEIBS/HKUST的加分大
還是US TOP15的加分大
