This year we updated to a paperless system and this transition has had unexpected challenges. Our reader form was not designed correctly and this caused a major delay in our application review process. Because I never want to sacrifice the time and accuracy to each application, we held off reading in October in hopes that when all staff returned and the reader form was corrected, we would get through each round and honor our deadlines.
Due to this delay, the Adcom will begin reading round 2 applications when we return from winter break on January 2nd. Cornell University is closed for our winter holiday break from December 22nd through January 1st. We will be sending interview invitations out throughout January and February.
I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate a major change in our process. We are dedicated to ensuring all effort is made in consideration of your candidacy. We look forward to adding more to the Class of 2015 in the coming months.
