Doyou agree or disagree with the following statement?
Students should not take part-time jobs while they are attendinguniversity.
Some people preferto taking part-time jobs while they are attending because they want to particlethemselves or make money to pay their tuition. However, I believe that student shouldnot take part time job when they are in school because students have to accomplish a large number of assignments inuniversity. Besides, part- time jobs will make student too tired to attendcourses.
First of all, studentshave to face a lot of assignments and reports in university than in highschool. If students could not finish their paper , they may not pass thecourse. This is different than in high school study. For example, one of myfriend –Li, his is a smart boy in the school, but he took part-time job in a restaurantnearby school. Li delivery dinner to student’s apartment after classes ended.Therefore, he was so busy to finish his assignments on time and missed three groupdiscuses in the night. In addition, even the professor remind him that heshould focus on the school study, he insisted to delivery dinner in night. As aresult, Li got D in the end of the semester, even though he got A in mid-termand final exam. What is the student’s responsible?  eople know this answer.
Secondly, ifstudents take part-time job, they have to run busy between the school and workshop place. Theywaste a lot of time in the road. Thus, some of them get tired to attend course,and they skip these courses to have a sleep. Moreover, some classmates sleepduring the classes after a whole night work because they have courses in thedaytime. Students have not time to attend other activities, such as sportclubs, learning center, and so on. Furthermore hey have their whole life towork after they graduate, so they should gain more knowledge in university-their final school.
For all thesereasons, some people say that this is a challenge that student should have toface. However, I insist that studentshould not take part-time job while they are in school. The major goal forstudent is studying hard. If they want to work, they can direct find a job after high school. Why they go touniversity? |
