B为什么错，是认为accounting for进行时态不好

accounting for进行时态不好,so...that结构被破坏；

原文说自1975年以来，如此多的人不断的迁往 Utah 以至the Mormons，曾经占(Utah)总人口的75％，现在只占50％。

这里since   .. . so不是一个意思

b项改变了原文的意思

因为原句为倒装代表语气强烈，所以一般不能修改，所以AE优选

A。SO.....Such that 有问题   who were once 75 percent of the population 里的were使用错误

   are now only accounting没必要用现在进行时，用一般现在时就可以了

   only 位置错误，应该放到half前面

D。 such that不合适，还有only的位置

B为什么错，是认为accounting for进行时态不好

我认为在once前和population后还应加逗号，请指正。

B is wrong because of " so Mormons (who are) once 75 percent of the population ..." You can NOT say Mormons ARE 75%. Should be "Mormons represent 75%" . Same as an example in OG, "... process is ..." is wrong while "... process refers to ..." is right.
