5. 我认为each/with都引导独立主格结构，不过(D) with roofs of poles and arrowweed to be和(E) with roofs of poles and arrowweed that are都犯了两个错误，首先D/E都用了with而不是each，后者明确了一对一的关系，即一个shade对应一个roof，而with后用的复数结构无法表达这种对应关系；可能是一个shade有多个roofs，也可能是多个shades有一个roof，或等等；另一方面，D用to be表达的将来，时态不合适；E用了that are supported这样一个繁琐的结构，that are去掉后句子的逻辑和意思都没有改变，所以that are应该去掉。

9. 我只能通过result from来排除其他选项。对于for，我的理解其相当于because作为连词引导句子。但是这种理解有两个问题，1.如果存在这样一个因果关系，for前的分号使用是否合理；2.unable to back down到底是何成分，前面是否应该加上and或其他什么联系结构。所以，这道题还应该请其他人来解释一下。

11. 可能和你理解的相反，D其实是个平行结构：the invention of A was as essential as the invention of B，比较的对象是the invention of A和the invention of B，十分匹配；而A中的as因为没有前面的as对应，所以更象是用来引导一个状语，而不是一个比较结构。
