IESE Business School is offering candidates the opportunity to meet IESE at an IESE Alumni event in Shanghai on March 23rd, and in Beijing on March 25th. This is the FIRST time that IESE hold such session in China. It is also a very unique occasion as the Dean of school, Jordi Canals, will be hosting the event along with the MBA Admissions Office. If you would like to attend, please register as specified in the event details below.

这个活动是information session，项目说明会。不是面试。有些学校，不希望参加活动的同学不注册就来，所以要发邮件确认。

This is a session both for candidate to understand school better and for school to discover high potential candidates. The interview is not formal, it's more like understanding the candidate, his/her interests, background, and motivation about MBA etc. People withouth GMAT or didn't finish online application of IESE can also come, and IESE will continue to pay attention and follow up with these high potential candidates.

Well, if you are NOT interested in pursuing MBA at all, suggest you not to waste time going to the event!

Last but not least, be yourself, and don't panic!

"Building respected companies"

With so many bright people leading our corporations, why was the financial crisis not averted? In this session Dean Jordi Canals will introduce some key ideas on the topic of respected companies as explored in his recent book "Building respected companies (PDF, 225 Kb) ".
On this occasion, he proposes to get to the root of our current woes: the crisis of identity and purpose that corporations are suffering nowadays. Only by rethinking the true nature of corporations and their role in society will firms be able to retake their rightful place as one of our key institutional pillars.

这是一个30分钟的一对一的informative interview，即：你可以向jessica (admission director) 面对面问清楚到底IESE是怎样的，同时IESE也有机会认识了解富有潜力的MBA candidates并安排进一步的面试。所以说，这是一对一的项目说明+简单面试。面试更多是了解candidates，为什么想读MBA，工作背景如何，未来职业发展方向等等。本次面试并不能决定你是否能进入IESE MBA.

当然，着装还是建议正式些，毕竟是要去读商学院。

感谢楼上的介绍，终于明白了……一直没敢回复确认信，怕如果是只针对已经申请的学生，我反而浪费人家宝贵时间。
这样的话，没有申请也可以去看看，大致准备一下自己要说什么，要问什么就可以了对吧？
