搜了以前的帖子也没看到关于有解答的
不是说fewer只能形容人其余都less吗
我猜测的错误原因：

A 是having 的修饰了 an individual or individuals
B 是 with fewer than eight units 也修饰了 an individual or individuals
D it 和one 不能混用
是这样吗？

还有 C为什么错是不是and is 的is 必须省略

我随便说说…就当做讨论讨论好了
B. with fewer than eight units and no commercial space就近修饰引起歧义。书面语中ONE作代词是很傻的事情，尽量不用。
C. 书面语中尽量不用one做指代
a building with fewer than eight units, no commercial space最好用and连接，避免造成后面3个并列的歧义。
后面的and理论上是A private house is ...and is.理论上虽然is可以省略，但是这句话的意思是解释privatehouse是什么，后面的is is owned by an individual or individuals应该是修饰后面的通常的解释而不是前面的一个“private house”。如果修饰private house就改变了原句重心。
D. one和it导致指代不清
E. one还是尽量不用。而且这个么- -Has的两个不并列太囧了……

我觉得凭语感可以直接选出A，D和E选项我同意2楼的，C选项我觉得是a house is a building with ,...... and is owned......不是平行结构，所以排除
