A. excepting for
B. except in
C. but except in
D.but excepting for
E. with the exception of
对于C选项,我想不通的是这里的“except"是什么词性?肯定不是连词,前面的"but" 已经发挥连词的作用连接起来了这两个句子,那这个"except"是介词吗?是介词的话,可以直接跟介宾短语"in the domains of"???
求指点,谢谢!!!
A double preposition is two (prepositional) words used in a sentence to connect nouns, pronouns and phrases with other words in a sentence.
e.g. He's over in the next town
Except不可能是介词,因为介词是一个表示的是一个名词与另一个名词之间的关系,之后必须跟名词。
个人以为except也是连词,连词之后可以跟任何成分(words, phrases, sentences, etc.)所以这种用法还是比较常用的,But before I made my determination to apply, I had already done a lot of different analysis. 这里But和before就都是连词~
