Hello there! It would be my pleasure to answer all of your questions, in order.
1.The short work experience will NOT be a weakness of your application. But if you want to maximize your chances this year, you should say in your app that you want to work in SALES. After all, that is the area where you have the most experience. To say that you want to work in entrepreneurship, if you don’t have any real experience there, is a bit of a risk. Stick with your strengths instead—then, once you get into school, you can do whatever you want!
2.This answer should be different for everyone. If you have international background, you can bring THAT to the school. Your international perspective. You can bring a unique SALES background, that many others don’t know.  erhaps your NGO experience. You can also perhaps bring a knowledge of working in China, that others may not bring. If you are a Chess Master, you can perhaps bring THAT to the school—it should be personal, and reflect your unique, specific background. Something that other applicants can NOT bring.
3.Wharton is known for FINANCE. That, and being located in a disgusting part of the country.
4.Yes, the NGO experience will help your application very much. But again, the key will be for you to use this experience to your advantage. How does the NGO experience figure into your career goals? Use it! How has it changed how you view the world? Use the unusual experience in your application…to your advantage.
