As an applicant to the University of Illinois (ILLINOIS) MSA Program, you or other professionals you know might also be interested in the ILLINOIS MS Tax Program located in Chicago.
The MS Tax Program is a 12-month executive-style Masters of Science in Taxation (MST) program designed for working tax professionals with at least two years of work experience. Students attend classes in downtown Chicago on Fridays and Saturdays while continuing to work full time. (Current employment is not required for the program, however, and international students in particular are generally not employed while going through the program.) The curriculum focuses on the "complete" tax professional by delivering a rigorous technical tax education along with important professional skills to ensure that graduates possess both the technical knowledge and professional attributes necessary to be outstanding tax professionals.
In addition to having a world-class faculty, the program offers students the opportunity to meet and interact with National tax leaders through its Lyceum series. Tuition for the program is $35,000. It is all-inclusive and covers the cost of tuition, fees, books and all meals during the time classes are in session.
Classes begin on May 1, 2010 for the next cohort and applications are currently being accepted.
