D有了个think就肯定主语是记者，后面的they是nuclear power了啊。

E,对的一定要有that

楼上的谢谢啦~不过they无论如何是有指代奇异的吧? 唯一的解释只可能是出题者把a majority of journalists当做一个单数的名词对待,因此"they"在语法上不可能指代journalists. 但是关于(E)对的一定要有"that"的解释非常感谢哦~~!
