里面有些我拿不定的就打了问号,不知用那个对或者好一点。 88 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Telephone and e-mail have made communication between people less personal. Use specific reasons and details to support your opinion.
Currently, technology is the key point of enhancing the productivity of our society. Although some people believe that it is also technology, such as telephone and e-mail, that makes people less intimate. When I am confronted with the question “do you think telephone and e-mail have made communication among people less personal”, the answer is, definitely, “no”. I think it is not less personal communication in which such kinds of technologies result but convenience. In the ancient time, people ride (rode?) a horse and settle (left?) for a place thousands of kilometers away only to deliver a short message. Several horses may die in the process and even the life of the messenger is threatened by variety of factors. Even though the message may not be delivered to the people who it is suppose to be sent. From the example we can conclude that we benefit from it greatly because we can save the trouble of costing so much by one clicking of the mouse. And another merit the technology provides us with is that we can communicate more easily in stead of (rather than) less personal. When one has some problem(s?) with his or her friend and it is embarrassed and difficult to talk about it directly, the e-mail would be the best choice. Otherwise, suppose that you have made a mistake which hurts the feeling of your good friend, and you are shy (unwilling ?) to apologize face to face, but if no apologize is made, the friendship between you would be destroyed. When you are faced with this kind of dilemma, it is better to get help from the cell-phone. What you need to do is just to send a message that express your feeling of “sorry”. In conclusion, it is no doubt that we get plenty of benefits from the kind of technology and it does help us a lot in communication with our families and our friends.
