You should find an alternative that you are truly passionate about. This would contribute to the diversity of any institution. Also...find the links...MBA equals management...If you are really great at something...perhaps you can start you own business?..Anyway, I'd have to get to know you better before giving you specific examples.
For example:
Because I didn't pursue a business degree, I pursued my love of languages and got an English degree. I am further pursuing my passion through a graduate degree in English at Harvard University. As a result of my love for languages, I have developed and fine-tuned my writing skills. Subsequently, my superior writing skills have allowed me to start my own writing and editing service. Now, if I was writing an essay for an MBA program, I would emphasize my excellent communication skills and writing ability, and how that would help any group project or presentation. My background in the arts also allows me to see different perspectives and insights from someone that is purely based in business. Since an English degree is also highly interrelated with history and psychology, my familiarity in these two areas will also undoubtedly contribute to my understanding of business, and allow me to offer different insights during class and group work, leading to more comprehensive discussions and exposing my classmates knowledge that they would not have had otherwise. Also the analytical thinking abilities that my English degree has provided me with have enhanced my creativity, analysis skills, and logic. Concurrently, an MBA program will obviously help me run and manage my business.
