Templates of Transcripts for Business Schools

Hello everyone,

I got a question about the templates of transcripts or the self-reported transcripts form provided on certain websites of business schools, such as Tuck.

My university already provided me the official transcripts, and do I have to

A. re-renter the data into the templates or the form to self-report the transcripts to schools, or

B. is it OK that I scan the official transcripts provided by my university and attach them as enclosed files?

I know some B-schools require "templates" while applicants self reporting their transcripts. However, here is another way to do it. Self report ur transcript in the format ur school provides with( and make some copies if u like or if u wanna apply for several B-schools), after that stamp ur transcript with official seals and fold those paper into official envelopes. Also stamp the envelope with official seals. Mail them to the destination~~~ In that case, admins from B-schools will see them as standard or official transcripts. Good luck

Re-entering makes it easier for admissions officers to read because they come in a template they are familiar with. That's what I did- I did not want to take the risk of annoying a tired reader who may miss something because he's looking at an unfamiliar template.

Factually, though, as long as you present accurate information, either way is fine.
