D为何不可以呢？感觉thus比选项E中的and so they are简洁阿？而且我之所以不选E是因为E中连接2个句子用and so，这儿用了2个连词，这种用法对么？我觉得不是都应该只用1个连词才对吧，比如这儿不是用一个so就够了么？等等nn指点. 谢谢阿

而且我的很大疑问在选项E中用了and so两个连词，应该不太对阿？？？

我的理解：对于1

(D) they grow naturally, cutting their feed allotment

我也选错了。开始主要是觉得they的指代不明确。 但后来把句子拿出来分析

 suppliers are growing fish twice as fast as their natural growth rate,如果不要twice,

suppliers are growing fish as fast as their natural growth rate, 显然可以发现d是正确答案， 排除A。twice在这儿是副词，不是形容词。

PREP 1

they的指代问题: 指代中有一条就近指代,前面出现了多个可以指代的对象,则该代词优先指代离它近的那个.

PREP 95

thus是副词,不能代替连词的作用,选项D thus restricted只能作伴随成分,导致逻辑意思的错误

and so中的so 是副词,跟and连用没有问题

they指代fish，可以有非划线部分看出。但og中对于they既可指代suppliers，又可指代fish的状况，感觉从来都是判错的，所以做起prep这题，让我考虑了好长时间。 Templar，你认为呢？
