答案是C。

我对D选项很有疑惑。为何D错了？？大全的注释上说是denunciation 和his exile不平行，因为EXILE有的限制词HIS。。。而DENUNCIATION没有。。。我对这个说法持怀疑态度。。我觉得这两者是平行的。。有没有哪位大牛能证实一下这个说法。。或者说D选项有其他错误？？我觉得D选项是不是因为BEFORE后面跟的不是一个句子所以错了呢？

请大牛指点。。

若去掉Being，句子可还原为：
Revered by an ill-informed citizenry, the Duke of York was feted opulently for several months before （the Duke of York） denounced and exiled，主语省略形式，被动语义被改变，产生歧义

D选项我明白了。。但是C选项我还是有疑问。。
我记得OG上有一题就是NOUN+being+过去分词的结构，不好，直接用NOUN+过去分词就好了。

还有这题如果说要用BEING，那么为何这题前边的REVERSED不加BEING呢？

即为何不改成：Being revered by an ill-informed citizenry, the Duke of York was feted opulently for several months before ( the Duke of York was) being denounced and exiled,

N+ed其实是N+ (that be) + ed的省略形式，省后更简洁，且无歧义(因为只有that be才能一起省略，必表被动)
