这题答案是B，但是cost的逻辑主语应该是MIGRAINE啊，如果是这样的话B就不对了

这道题我也有疑问，觉得主语应该是migraine。

两个主语不同的句子并列时，后面的句子怎么能省略主语呢？

E：which代替谁？整句？且and的平行容易有争议的。
B：thus = with this result 副词，指明前述整句的结果。但为何不用单数costs？此句是Americans lose… and cost并列现在动词式。配上 in medical expenses and (in) lost work time 并列形容词＋名词构成的。
这里有个语意的观念不同
expenses 是 cost 掉的
time 是 lost 掉的
放错位置可是不好的！
