iBT OG上第250页 Integrated Writing 的例题，就是讨论teamwork的优缺点的。阅读中说了teamwork的优点，听力举一个公司的例子说了实际中teamwork的问题。

The reading material and the speaker are talking about the performance of teamwork. In the essay, teamwork was regarded the best way of organization, for two reasons: One is that people gathering in a team will share their knowledge and expertise, so the total knowledge band of the team is wider. Secondly, teamwork is more efficient. The work would be done more quickly since there are adequate amount of labor. Also, highly creative solutions are more likely to occur in teams because group tends to make decisions with high risk.

However, in the speech, the speaker's view is just the opposite. The speakers thought it harmful for people who made real construction to the team. They were easily ignored and treated unfairly since the team always gets praise on the whole, not on individuals.

Moreover, whether the work can be done quickly is another problem. In the speaker's opinion, working in a team will take a lot of time discussing, trying to get agreement. Sometimes it's really hard to get an overall agreement.

Also, the speaker queried about the creativeness. People who aren't experts are easily to follow the opinion of the masters. If there's only one person who seems own more experience, he or she will be regarded as master and others might prefer listening to him or her rather than thinking creatively.

In a word, the speaker didn't agree with the opinion of the essay. The speaker thought teamwork is inefficient considering the unfairness of the praise got by individuals and the thought of following the experts instead of coming up to creative ideas.
